Fake’well – Gqobhoze Ft Officixl RSA & DJ Tshegu, Ojay & Mid9t

Fake’well opens his 2026 project “Well It’s Officixlly Fake” album with the dynamic track Gqobhoze. As the first of six tracks, it sets the tone for a distinctly South African musical journey, blending local influences with a collaborative spirit. The project-first approach is evident in the seamless integration of sounds and contributions throughout the album.

Featuring a lineup of notable voices, the song enlists Officixl RSA & DJ Tshegu, Ojay, Mid9t, whose presence adds layers of depth and texture. Their combined talents help shape the track into a rich sonic experience that resonates with the project’s overall vision. Each collaborator brings their unique edge, complementing Fake’well’s artistic direction.

As the opening track, Gqobhoze introduces themes and styles that ripple through the rest of the six-track collection. The deliberate sequencing highlights the project-first writing method, where every element is crafted to contribute to the whole rather than standing apart. This cohesive beginning invites listeners into a carefully curated soundscape reflective of South Africa’s vibrant music scene.
