Taking to Twitter, Kaybee emphasized on the need to return money made from music to music instead of splurging it on a lavish lifestyle.
“The Music money must go back to music. Most musicians I know in South Africa are not aware that they are entrepreneurs by default. 1 good plugin nowadays can be well over 20k. Up to 60% of your profits should be invested back into your business, simple economics,” he wrote.
The DJ added, “Well some people argue that they are the business so spoiling themselves is part of investing back, well that is part of it yes, not in ridiculous amounts. BE CAREFUL”
