Mjabulisi – NEXT-DOOR

Mjabulisi delivers a compelling entry with NEXT-DOOR, positioned as the 13th track on the 17-song lineup of the 2026 project “1 Minute Away” album. The South African artist builds this song within a carefully curated sequence, reflecting a project-first writing approach that emphasizes cohesion across the album’s breadth.

The placement of NEXT-DOOR deep into the tracklist allows it to contribute to the unfolding narrative Mjabulisi crafts throughout “1 Minute Away” album. This method underlines a deliberate structure where each track is a vital piece of a larger musical journey rather than a standalone single.

This project-first strategy highlights Mjabulisi’s commitment to creating a unified listening experience, embedding NEXT-DOOR within the context of the full 17-track release. As a South African artist, Mjabulisi’s work continues to evolve through thoughtful sequencing and a holistic view of album construction.
